Scope and sequence
The Victorian Curriculum F–10 sets out what students are expected to learn. It is designed as a developmentally sequenced continuum of learning.
The achievement standards and content descriptions in each curriculum area can be presented in a scope and sequence chart that clearly shows the learning progression. Teachers can use scope and sequence charts to help them plan teaching and learning programs to meet the diverse needs of students.
Download the scope and sequence chart for Mathematics below. It has been formatted as 2 documents, for ease of use. They have been designed to be printed at A3 size.
Note, the scope and sequence charts contain achievement standards and content descriptions only. They should be read in conjunction with the introductory materials and the level/band descriptions in the curriculum.
